Requirements

First, make sure you have your own custom domain — for example, shopping.com.

If you don’t have one yet, you can easily buy it from a domain provider such as Google Domains, GoDaddy, or Hostinger.

Step 1: Set Up Your DNS Records for Your Website

Go to your DNS settings in your domain provider’s dashboard.

You need to add the following two records to configure your website:

  • WWW pointing to mydomain.orderingplus.com

In the following image, you can see an example of how to configure the DNS records in Cloudflare.

Step 2: Add a Redirect Rule

Add a redirect rule in your domain configuration with the following information:

Your root domain should redirect to www.

For example, if your domain is shopping.com, it should redirect to www.shopping.com.

This way, when someone visits shopping.com, they will automatically be redirected to www.shopping.com.

In the following image, you can see an example of how to add a redirect rule in Cloudflare, add this rule and save it.

Step 3: Add Your Domain in the Dashboard

Go to your dashboard at https://dashboard.orderingplus.com

Navigate to the My Products / Ordering Website section and add the URL of the website you want to configure.

For example, if your domain is shopping.com, enter shopping.com or www.shopping.com in your configuration and save the changes to complete the setup correctly.

That’s it! You’re all set.

Now you just need to wait a little while for the site connection to complete — this process may take a few minutes.

Additional Notes

If you configured your domain using Cloudflare, don’t forget to add the cache purge rule.
Make sure to select “Respect Existing Headers” in the Caching settings.
