Introduction

The Products & Categories section is the core of your menu. Here, you can add all the products for your stores, create categories within your stores, and add as many as you’d like.

This guide will explain the Product Details feature, which appears when you click on any product already listed in your category, as well as the benefits and use cases of this functionality.

Accessing Product Details

  1. Go to the Products & Categories Section

    • From the navigation menu, go to the Products & Categories section.

  2. Select a Product

    • If you’d like to make a special edition of a product, find the category that the product is in and click on the product to start editing.

  3. Explore Product Details

    • Once inside your product, you’ll see all the product configurations. Here’s what you can adjust:

Product Configurations

Name

  • Set or update the name of the product.

Price

  • Set the current price at which the product will be sold.

Regular Price

  • Set a higher regular price that will be crossed out on your front end, indicating a discount or special offer.

Add Inventory

  • Set a quantity for this product. If this quantity reaches zero, the product will show as sold out on the front end.

Ribbon

  • Add a ribbon or distinctive label to highlight the product (e.g., "New," "Sale," "Limited Edition").

Product Details: Advanced

Under the Advanced tab inside Product Details, you’ll find extra fields that help customize product settings for better accuracy:

  • Estimated person: Number of people the item serves.

  • Tax and Fees: Choose to inherit business settings or define custom values.

  • External ID: Helpful for external integrations.

  • Product cost / regular price: Define internal production cost and base price.

  • Minimum / Maximum quantity to order: Set order quantity rules.

  • Calories: Add nutritional information.

You can also toggle on/off special product settings:

  • Featured: Mark the product as highlighted.

  • Upselling: Use it for suggestions during checkout.

  • Stock Keeping Unit (SKU): Inventory tracking code.

  • Hide special instructions: Hide the instructions field.

  • Show price by weight: Enable pricing by weight.

  • Is Alcohol: Specify if this is an alcoholic item.


Below that, you'll find extra toggle switches:

  • Featured: Highlight this product in the store.

  • Upselling: Enable upsell suggestions for this item.

  • SKU: Show stock-keeping unit identifier.

  • Hide special instructions: Hide the custom note field from users.

  • Show price by weight: Use for weight-based pricing.

  • Is Alcohol: Mark the product as containing alcohol.

Make sure to click Save to apply all changes.


Product Details: Labels

The Labels tab allows you to assign custom tags to your products. Labels help with:

  • Filtering products on the frontend.

  • Visually or functionally categorizing items.

  • Triggering automated features like promotions, icons, or groupings.

Available options:

  • Search: Find existing labels.

  • Select all / Select none: Bulk select/deselect labels.

  • Add new label: Create a new custom label to organize your product catalog.



Product Details: SEO Options

To enhance the visibility of your product on Google search, you can add more detailed information:

SEO Image

  • Upload an image specifically for SEO purposes.

SEO Title

  • Set an SEO-friendly title that will appear in search results.

SEO Description

  • Write a description optimized for search engines, helping users understand what the product is about.

SEO Keywords

  • Add relevant keywords that will help search engines index your product correctly.

Slug

  • Define a URL slug that is concise and relevant to your product, improving SEO performance.
