To receive payments using PayPal, you will need to have a PayPal Developer account. This type of account is linked to your business Paypal account, so if you already have one, you can try using it to log in.

Once you have a PayPal account, you can proceed with the following steps to activate it for your project/website/app:

  1. You must go to your Dashboard > Stores > Selected Store you want to set up with PayPal.

  2. Go to the Stores section in your OrderingPlus Dashboard

  3. Select your business where you want to enable PayPal payments:

  4. Choose the payment methods section in your business, enable "PayPal," and select it:

  5. Mark the "Sandbox" checkbox, if you plan to test the payment method before switching/moving on to the Live mode.

  6. Add your "Client ID" and "Secret ID" and click on save

  4. Copy both your "Client ID" and click to reveal the "Secret ID".

  5. You can then add them to your business; the procedure is the same for both Sandbox and Live.

All set! You now have your Client ID and Secret ID.

That’s it! From now on, every time your customers place an order, they will be able to select PayPal as a payment option.

We recommend testing PayPal as a payment method to verify everything is working properly and to understand how your customers will use this option.
