1. Default Order Type

Set the primary order method that will be selected by default when a customer opens your platform.

  • Options: Delivery, Pickup, Eatin, Curbside, Drive thru, Seat delivery, Catering delivery, or Catering pickup.

  • Note: It is recommended to set this to your most popular service to streamline the user experience.

2. Configure Order Types

Enable or disable specific service methods for your entire platform by checking the boxes.

  • Delivery / Pickup: The standard industry methods.

  • Eatin: For customers ordering while physically at the establishment.

  • Curbside / Drive Thru: Specialized pickup methods for contactless or vehicle-based service.

  • Seat Delivery: Often used in stadiums, theaters, or specific table-service environments.

  • Catering (Delivery/Pickup): Designed for large-scale or scheduled bulk orders.

3. Maximum Pickup Distance

Set the maximum distance (in meters) from a business that a customer can be located to see and select pickup options.

  • Usage: If a customer is located farther than the configured distance, the businesses will be hidden. This helps ensure that only businesses within the allowed pickup distance are displayed.

4. Set Tips for Pickup Orders

Decide if you want to allow customers to leave a gratuity on non-delivery orders.

  • Yes: Shows the tip selection screen during the checkout for pickup orders.

  • No: Hides the tip option for pickup orders.

5. Address Adjustment Limit

Set the distance (in meters) that customers are allowed to manually move the location pin on the map.

  • Function: This ensures that customers can provide a precise location for delivery (e.g., a specific building entrance) while preventing them from moving the pin significantly away from the verified address.

6. Set No-Address Order Types

Allow certain order types to proceed to checkout without requiring the customer to provide a specific physical address.

  • Usage: This is commonly enabled for Eatin or Catering Pickup, where the customer's location is already known or irrelevant to the transaction. Check the boxes for each service type that should skip the address requirement.

Pro Tip: If you enable Eatin, make sure to also check it under Set No-Address Order Types to provide the fastest checkout experience for your in-store customers.
